Having a check up after an abortion
Marie Stopes Reproductive Choices are able to provide a check up after abortion for those women who have attended a Marie Stopes International Clinic in the UK. We also offer this to clients that have attended other abortion clinics at a small cost.
We recommend that women come to see us four weeks after an abortion for the following reasons:
- To confirm that the pregnancy hormones are no longer present
- To follow up on infection
- To discuss any concerns that you many have and to find out if you would like post abortion counselling
- To discuss future contraception
In addition we can offer you telephone support anytime prior to your post op consultation.
