If you are aged between 25-60 you can now have a free cervical smear test at Marie Stopes Reproductive Choices. Simply visit www.cervicalcheck.ie to register online. Once you have received your invitation letter, call us on (01) 830 0630 to arrange your appointment.

Having a cervical smear test is very simple and regular screening means that any problems can be identified and treated in the early stages before they become too serious. Having a cervical smear test is quick and simple and there is no need to be worried about it or put off having one.

You can have a cervical smear on its own, or as part of one of our Well Woman checks.

Tip: When making an appointment, remember you can not have a cervical smear during your period. The ideal time is roughly two weeks after the first day of your period – between day 10 and day 16 of your cycle.
